在这部精灵宝可梦：皮卡丘的探险队动画/短片片中,小智一行人在大树下打盹时，顽皮的波克比却没有和大伙一起入睡而跑出去玩耍，为了寻找走失的波克比，皮卡丘和所有的宝可梦们一起来到一个巨大的树林丛中，在里面遇见了电击怪，还认识了一大堆的新朋友，就在大家玩得很快乐的时候，突如其来的暴风雨，却让大伙陷入困境，宝可梦们要如何度过呢？
Ash, Brock and Misty are tired and settle down for a mid-day nap. All the Pokemon take a nap also. Suddenly, a flock of Ladyba flys by and awakens Toegpi. So entranced is she by the sight of them she follows them. Togepi of course does not pay attention to where she is going. She falls into a hole and enters a magical Pokemon world. Pikachu awakens and finds Togepi gone, and immedietely sets out to find her. They follow her down the hole she has fallen into and Pikachu's Rescue Adventure begins. There we see all kinds of Pokemon gathered together. They all help Pikachu and friends to help find little Togepi. This wonderful little adventure is entirely in what I like to call Poke-speak (with the exception of beginning and end very briefly Ash and friends speak). Otherwise, it's all about the Pokemon.
