Philosophy, mathematics and logic inform his viewpoint while history remains a matter of the heart. Introducción a la teoría de la probabilidad is presented contemporaneously with the launch of two books: Michael Stevenson: An Introduction (Walther König, 2013), the first extensive publication on Stevenson's complex oeuvre, which is observed through the lens of Michael Taussig, Jan Verwoert and Marilyn Strathern alongside additional texts by Mark von Schlegell, Giovanni Intra and others (including José de Jesús Martínez in first translation) and, Animal Spirits: Fables in the Parlance of our Times an artists' book by Michael Stevenson and Jan Verwoert (Christoph Keller Editions, jrp|ringier, 2013)
